QuizSolve ("we," "our," or "us") operates the QuizSolve Chrome extension and the website at getquizsolve.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (if any), how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Specifically, QuizSolve does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or contact information through the extension
- Browsing history or web activity
- IP addresses or geolocation data
- Authentication tokens, passwords, or credentials
- Cookies, tracking pixels, or device fingerprints
- Keystroke data or form contents
- Screenshots or screen recordings
- Any personally identifiable information (PII)
2. How QuizSolve Works
When you double-tap a question on a webpage, the extension reads only the selected question text on that page. The question text is sent to our server solely to generate an answer using a third-party AI model (OpenAI). The response is displayed directly in your browser.
- Question text is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers after the response is delivered.
- We do not log, retain, or associate questions with any user identity.
- No data is persisted in any database linked to individual users.
- All communication between the extension and our server uses HTTPS encryption.
3. Third-Party Services
To generate answers, question text is sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI processes the request in accordance with their own privacy policy and data usage terms.
- We do not send any identifying information (user ID, IP address, etc.) to OpenAI — only the question text.
- OpenAI's privacy policy is available at openai.com/privacy.
4. Website Waitlist
If you choose to join our waitlist on the website, we collect only your email address for the sole purpose of notifying you when QuizSolve is available. Your email is:
- Stored securely and encrypted at rest.
- Used only to send you a one-time launch notification.
- Never sold, shared, or provided to any third party.
- Deletable at any time by contacting us.
5. Chrome Extension Permissions
QuizSolve requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:

6. Data Retention
Since we do not collect personal data through the extension, there is nothing to retain or delete. Questions sent to generate answers are processed in real time and are not stored after the response is returned.
7. Children's Privacy
QuizSolve is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
